Bengal Quay - Tandoori Chops
Bengal Quay Restaurant
Taste - Succulent for thinly sliced lamb chops, full of flavour and cooked in a tandoor oven these tandoori chops were a prime example between the two types of "indian" restaurants. Indian cuisine is usually cooked by people or Indian & Bangladeshi origin and you can really taste the difference in the taste through their methods in applying the marinade and the level of heat. (Cooked Well Done) One lamb chop did come out partially burnt but that's expected from a tandoori oven to get some charring.
Portion - The portion size was amazing with a small side salad I would say it is a great main dish (5 thin sliced pieces)
Cost - This dish is priced at £14.95 which I believe is pricy but for its locality suits. (E14)
